If you possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity. **Key Responsibilities:** * Order entry of electronic and faxed prescriptions via arenaflex's pharmacy software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing patient orders * Respond to phone calls and troubleshoot issues with nursing staff in a professional and courteous manner, providing timely and effective solutions * Adjudicate and troubleshoot rejected insurance claims, ensuring seamless communication with patients and healthcare providers * Collaborate with the fill floor team to process orders in a timely manner, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail * Accurately process prescriptions, calculate proper day supplies and quantities, and provide clear instructions to patients and caregivers * Utilize problem-solving skills to provide accurate information and efficient solutions, ensuring patient satisfaction and loyalty * Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA laws, protecting sensitive patient information **Essential Qualifications:** * High School Diploma or Equivalent * Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician License (or equivalent in the state of Massachusetts) and good standing with the Board of Pharmacy * 2+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail, long-term care, or hospital setting * Basic math skills and ability to accurately calculate quantities and day supplies * Open availability, including holidays and weekends * Reliable transportation and ability to travel to arenaflex's pharmacy locations as needed * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment **Preferred Qualifications:** * Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification * Experience in long-term care or framework LTC settings * Familiarity with medical terminology and Mass Pharmacy Law * Basic understanding of claims adjudication and billing processes * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions **Work Environment and Company Culture:** arenaflex is committed to creating a positive and supportive work environment that fosters growth, innovation, and collaboration.
