Loan Officer Assistant
SUMMARY:
The Loan Officer Assistant’s primary role is to act as a liaison between Loan Officer, borrowers, and operation departments. The Loan Officer Assistant Assist ensures clear communication for a smooth closing transaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the collection of missing documentation for completion of loan file from borrowers
Work with the Processor and Loan Officer to collect documentation to clear conditions
Update Loan Officer on status of conditions and copy Loan Officer on borrower correspondence and requests for documentation
Structure file for processing in Encompass
Perform basic office functions including, taking phone calls, scheduling meetings for the Loan Officer, faxing, making copies, data entry, etc.
Run reports for the Loan Officer to monitor monthly productivity
QUALIFICATIONS:
Two (2) years prior mortgage or mortgage banking experience
Ability to deliver effective results and to meet deadlines.
Sound judgment and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Excellent phone and service skills
Pay is $24.04 per hour/50 bps on Personal Production
This position will be considered an employee of the Waukesha, WI branch, working a hybrid schedule in Middleton, WI.
