**Job Responsibilities:**
As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for:
* Providing exceptional customer service to patients and customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
* Processing transactions, including registering sales, collecting cash, and dispensing change
* Maintaining accurate records, including patient and medication data, and processing voids, returns, and exchanges
* Assisting pharmacists with tasks, such as entering patient and medication data, filling prescriptions, and verifying medication accuracy
* Reporting any errors or discrepancies to the pharmacist and adhering to company policies and procedures
* Handling calls and responding to customer inquiries, including those from doctors and other healthcare professionals
* Processing manual cases for external program remedy services and performing other administrative tasks as assigned
* Assisting with stock management, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining inventory levels
* Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including counters, shelves, and storage areas
* Participating in training and professional development programs to stay up-to-date on the latest medical and pharmacy developments
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
* 1+ year of experience in a retail or healthcare environment
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
* Proficiency in data entry and computer skills
* Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* 6+ months of experience in a retail or healthcare environment
* Previous experience working with Walgreens or a similar company
* Strong numerical skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing prescriptions
* Familiarity with store stock control and inventory management systems
* PTCB certification or willingness to obtain certification through the assigned PTCB training program
