Job Overview In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, supporting the pharmacy team, and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store. You will work closely with our pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other team members to deliver personalized support to our patients, answer questions, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner. Key Responsibilities Model and offer a unique and delightful purchaser experience, ensuring that every interaction with our patients is positive and memorable. Register sales on assigned cash register, provide clients with courteous, honest, friendly, and efficient checkout service, and handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the exercise of pharmacy, including the use of pharmacy systems to attain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. Engage clients and patients by greeting them, providing help with products and services, resolving customer issues, and answering inquiries to ensure a superb purchaser experience. Present clients with courteous, friendly, speedy, and green carriers, recommend items for sale, and process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. Maintain counters and cabinets smoothly and well merchandised, take stock and maintain records, and test in and price merchandise as required or as directed by the store manager or communicated by the shift leader. Play responsibilities as assigned by the Pharmacy manager, team Pharmacist, and store manager, including applying pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug records, filling prescriptions, and verifying medicine accuracy. Review, promptly, prescription errors to pharmacists on duty and adhere to company guidelines and procedures regarding pharmacy errors and quality improvement programs. Strictly adhere to the arenaflex Policy regarding good faith dispensing during all applicable prescription dispensing activities. Handle phone calls that don't require personal attention of the pharmacist, such as those to physicians, and approach manual claims for third-party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner. Assist and support the Pharmacy Department on inventory control activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals, and maintain knowledge of company asset protection techniques. Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, construct and maintain displays, and complete resets and revisions as directed. Assist with the separation of food items, product placement, and inventory rotation, using the first in, first out technique, and restock outs. Have working knowledge of store systems and store devices, provide customer service in the photo area, and assume web pick-up duties as needed. Assist with outside and interior maintenance, ensuring a smooth, neat, orderly condition and appearance, and comply with all company policies and procedures. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register. Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move around the store to assist customers. Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications Pharmacy experience or certification (e.g., CPhT). Knowledge of pharmacy systems and operations. Experience with inventory control and management. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service skills and ability to resolve issues effectively.
