Key Responsibilities Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience. Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits and blithequark service traits. Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service, including registering sales, processing transactions, and handling customer inquiries. Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records. Maintain a clean and well-merchandised store environment, including counters, shelves, and inventory, and perform duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager. Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to blithequark policies and procedures in relation to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program. Handle telephone calls, process manual claims, and perform other clerical duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager. Assist and support the Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals. Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products and maintain knowledge of store systems and equipment. Essential Qualifications Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration. Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate and acquire continuing education credits. Preferred Qualifications Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment. Prefer prior work experience with blithequark. Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications. Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
