As a key member of our Business Operations team, you will play a vital role in supporting our Customer Service Division by accurately and efficiently entering information into our customer information system and other Public Works software.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Part-time Data Entry Operator with arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:

* Establishing and maintaining utility accounts with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Verifying account eligibility and accessibility to ensure seamless customer service
* Preparing, distributing, and completing work orders in a timely and efficient manner
* Preparing files for mass customer communications, including billing statements and other notices
* Scanning or retaining documents as required
* Performing monthly audits of incomplete account transfer requests to ensure data integrity
* Entering data into Key Performance Indicator tracking databases to inform business decisions
* Performing other related duties as assigned by management

**Essential Qualifications**

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications:

* High School Diploma or an acceptable equivalency diploma (GED)
* Two (2) years of experience as a high volume data entry operator or typist
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software
* Excellent typing and accuracy skills, with the ability to meet or exceed industry standards
* 10-key skills testing will be required for consideration
* Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment in a fast-paced environment

**Preferred Qualifications**

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

* Associate's degree in business administration, data entry, or a related field
* Two (2) years of experience as a high volume data entry operator or typist
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and independently
* Experience with Public Works software and customer information systems
