As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accurately processing insurance claims and authorization requests, ensuring timely and efficient turnaround times for our clients. This is a remote opportunity, and you will have the flexibility to work from home with a 34-hour workweek. **Responsibilities** As a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you will be responsible for: * Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers * Entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times * Navigating efficiently and effectively through the imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry * Differentiating between different claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines * Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling * Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times * Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements * Performing quality review of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines * Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed * Alerting management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies * Providing recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate **Requirements** To be a successful Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you will need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused role * Strong data entry/typing skills * Excellent attention to detail * High degree of accuracy * Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team * Strong communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in a healthcare-related field * Familiarity with imaging software and data entry systems * Certification in data entry or a related field * Experience working in a remote or virtual environment **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you will need to possess: * Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and speed * Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies * Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment * Strong communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to providing our team members with opportunities for growth and development.
