If you're a people person with a passion for problem-solving, we want to hear from you! **Why You'll Love This Role** As a Customer Support Representative at blithequark, you'll have the opportunity to: * Connect with customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner, providing solutions to their queries and concerns. * Work in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your skills and experience to resolve complex issues and drive customer satisfaction. * Collaborate with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. * Develop your skills and expertise through ongoing training and development programs. * Enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $27, with opportunities for career growth and advancement. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Support Representative at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: * Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. * Issuing, reissuing, and refunding traveler tickets. * Booking, ticketing, and confirming flight reservations. * Rebooking travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations. * Performing traveler check-in and boarding tasks, including ticketing and baggage handling. * Working door scanners and related duties, including pre-boarding, carry-on bag scanning, and departure gate management. * Operating jetways and bridges for boarding and deplaning passengers. * Making boarding and departure gate announcements. * Conveying domestic and international flight documents. * Performing customer service flight close-out procedures. * Accepting, checking, and labeling passengers' baggage at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and premium ticket counters. * Maintaining the schedule of the flight boarding process. * Performing customer service hands-on training. * Processing and completing visa document exchanges at ticket counters and activation stations. * Assisting passengers with self-service kiosk check-in and ticket counter staff handling at ticket counters. * Operating lines at ticket counter booths and ticket counters. * Clearing and checking international documents at ticket counters and activation stations. * Accepting and activating passengers' self-labeled bags at activation stations. * Assisting passengers requiring special assistance or in-station help, including boarding, deplaning, and shipping non-ambulatory passengers, special assistance passengers, and unaccompanied minors. * Performing customer service work related to handling regional flights and ground handling arrangements or agreements. **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. * Bilingual language skills in certain areas. * A valid driver's license as required by local authorities. * To satisfy FAA background checks to qualify for unescorted access badges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable. * To obtain suitable airport power or US Customs security identification, if required. * To pass a pre-employment drug screen, thorough background check, or fingerprinting to meet company and security requirements. * To be eligible to work in the U.S. **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications will be advantageous: * Working knowledge of Sabre or other passenger service systems. * Previous customer service experience. * Experience working in a high-speed environment. **What You'll Get** As a valued member of the blithequark team, you'll enjoy: * Comprehensive health insurance, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage, effective on your first day. * Health programs that provide you with the tools, resources, and support you need to be your best self. * A 401(k) program, available upon hire, with company contributions to your 401(k) program available after one year. * Other great benefits, including our Employee Assistance Program, pet insurance, and discounts on hotels, cars, travel, and more. **Join the blithequark Family** At blithequark, we're committed to creating a workplace that's inclusive, compassionate, and empowering.
