As a Mobile Plumber, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and functionality of plumbing systems within these properties, directly impacting the lives of tenants. Key Responsibilities Cover all aspects of maintenance, repair, and refurbishment services within social housing environments, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks. Provide excellent professional customer service to tenants, addressing their needs and concerns in a courteous and respectful manner. Attend informal and formal meetings and training sessions as required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to ongoing learning and development. Utilize a handheld device (PDA) to process tasks and works electronically, including worksheets, timesheets, and photographic evidence of works before, during, and after completion. Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. Manage and replenish van stock as necessary, ensuring the availability of necessary materials and tools for tasks. Essential and Preferred Qualifications Essential Qualifications: A qualification or apprenticeship in Plumbing at a minimum Level 2. Proven experience in maintenance and repairs, preferably within the plumbing trade. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with tenants, colleagues, and management. A valid UK Driving License, ensuring mobility and the ability to travel to various locations as required. No criminal record, adhering to the company's strict vetting processes. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working within the social housing sector, understanding its unique challenges and requirements. Familiarity with handheld devices (PDAs) and electronic reporting systems. A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
