Key Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities, ensuring alignment with district curriculum guidelines. Deliver high-quality instruction to students, utilizing a range of teaching strategies and technologies to promote understanding and achievement in mathematics. Assess student progress through various evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their academic growth. Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment that encourages participation, respect, and inclusivity. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and guardians through regular communication, parent-teacher conferences, and staff meetings to ensure a cohesive approach to student education. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress, adhering to district policies and procedures. Essential and Preferred Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. Valid Wyoming State Department of Education Certificate with appropriate endorsement and highly qualified status. Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance. Job-related experience, preferably in teaching mathematics at the junior high level. Preferred Qualifications Experience with curriculum development and implementation. Knowledge of educational technologies and their integration into the classroom. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff. Evidence of successful teaching practices and student outcomes. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need: Strong subject matter expertise in mathematics. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $48,420.00 to $80,928.00 per year (pro-rated for the remaining contract period), along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance.
