The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a Licensed Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of prescription information, maintaining patient records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the accuracy of prescription and patient information. **Key Responsibilities** As a Licensed Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: * **Data Entry**: Perform data entry tasks to ensure accurate and timely entry of prescription information. * **Patient Records**: Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including HIPAA and other privacy laws. * **Collaboration**: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the accuracy of prescription and patient information. * **Discrepancies**: Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to prescriptions. * **Customer Service**: Handle calls to and from patients, providers, and other pharmacy staff. * **Pharmacist Support**: Partner with pharmacists for questions about prescriptions. * **Performance Metrics**: Meet internal and external KPI's. * **Industry Trends**: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in pharmacy operations and keep license active. * **Additional Duties**: Perform other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: * **Licensed Pharmacy Technician**: Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Texas (Texas State Board of Pharmacy). * **Certification**: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent certification. * **Experience**: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy operations, typing prescriptions. * **Knowledge**: Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medications, and medical terminology. * **Attention to Detail**: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. * **Computer Skills**: Proficient in using pharmacy management software and other relevant computer applications.
