Job Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team, responsible for providing IT administration, project management, and support to ensure the functional maintainability of our basic infrastructure. As an IT Business Analyst, you will work closely with our IT Offices Group, which is responsible for IT administration, project management, and support of our server farm and distant communication room basic infrastructure, IT certification labs, and remote communication room basic climate equipment. Key Responsibilities Provide IT administration, project management, and support to ensure the functional maintainability of our basic infrastructure, including server farm and distant communication room equipment. Manage, operate, maintain, and monitor all critical facilities infrastructure for server farm and distant communication room equipment. Develop and implement standards for server farm and distant communication room space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure. Support IT Offices campus fiber ring to maintain the integrity and service continuity of our air terminal and campus facilities underground fiber ring. Recommend and implement departmental policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures. Ensure compliance with all governing corporate policies and regulations. Project management of server farm and distant communication room standards capital upgrades, updates, and improvements. Procurement of IT and critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, obtaining best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual commitments. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Knowledge of server farm technology and critical facilities systems. Project management experience, preferably in a high-availability communication room or server farm operating environment. Capital budgeting and project management experience for air terminal critical equipment life cycle replacement. Space, UPS power, and critical cooling capacity management experience. Procurement experience, ensuring accurate documentation, obtaining best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual commitments. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. Flexibility to support an operation with varying shifts, extended hours, and on-call requirements. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will give you an upper hand in this role: IT project management experience with at least 3 years of experience in a high-availability communication room or server farm operating environment. Experience with everyday operational requirements and the operation of production systems and equipment. Knowledge of industry-leading practices and standards for IT infrastructure management. Experience with change control activities and ensuring adherence to established procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
