Job Overview As an IT Business Analyst at blithequark, you will provide expert IT administration, project management, and support to ensure the functional sustainability of our critical infrastructure. You will work closely with our IT Offices Group to manage and maintain our data centers, communication rooms, and IT labs. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, and your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be invaluable. Key Responsibilities Provide IT administration of all site implementations, inventories, system planning, and maintenance for our data centers, communication rooms, and IT labs Manage and maintain our critical facilities infrastructure, including space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure Develop and implement standards for data center and communication room design, construction, and operation Support IT Offices campus fiber ring to maintain the integrity and service continuity of our airport and campus facilities underground fiber ring Recommend and implement departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines Ensure compliance with all governing corporate policies and regulations Manage projects related to data center and communication room upgrades, updates, and improvements Procure IT and facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, best prices for products and services, and vendor contract compliance Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a related field Knowledge of data center technology and facilities systems Project management experience, preferably in a high-availability communication room or data center operating environment Capital budgeting and project management experience for airport critical equipment life cycle replacement Space, UPS power, and critical cooling capacity management experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to support an operation with varying shifts, extended hours, and on-call requirements Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will give you an upper hand: IT project management experience with at least 3 years of experience in a high-availability communication room or data center operating environment Experience with data center and communication room design, construction, and operation Knowledge of IT service management frameworks and methodologies Certifications in ITIL, PMP, or related fields Career Growth and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
