Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Input Device System Design Engineer to join our team. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for developing and shipping the next generation of HCI hardware, including mice, trackpads, keyboards, remotes, and other innovative devices. This is a hardware design EE position that requires collaboration with cross-functional teams on the design, implementation, integration, and qualification of Human Interface Devices. Key Responsibilities

Execution of design in high volume, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive results and assess project risk/maturity levels.
Apply state-of-the-art sensing and haptic technologies to design next-generation human interface devices.
Author detailed engineering requirements specifications and perform schematic capture and PCB layout design of the electrical system.
Manage suppliers and manufacturing partners, including overseas build support, and interface with cross-functional leaders for project reviews and discussions.
Work closely with mechanical engineers and firmware teams to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Working knowledge of board/system-level electrical designs with micro-controllers and hands-on experience in prototype design, bring-up, debugging, characterization, and functional verification.
Familiarity with system-level design and common interfaces such as I2C, SPI, JTAG, and USB.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

A successful track record of working closely with mechanical engineers and firmware teams.
Experience in DC-DC converter design and application (buck and boost).
Experience in sensor selection and integration at the system level (capacitive, optical, resistive, or any type of sensors).
Experience in designing high-volume, high-quality consumer electronic products.
Experience in data analysis and scripting languages.
