Job Summary As an In-Home Caregiver / Home Health Aide (HHA), you will play a vital role in supporting our patients with daily living activities, personal care, and household tasks. Your goal will be to provide exceptional care and assistance, enabling our patients to remain safe and independent in their own homes. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one support and assistance with personal hygiene, daily living activities, and household tasks. Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager, ensuring timely and effective communication. Drive safely and comply with traffic regulations when business travel is required, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times. Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and toileting, with dignity and respect. Perform household tasks directly essential to clients' personal care, maintaining a clean and safe environment. Notify the Agency Director immediately if any incidents or accidents occur, ensuring prompt and effective response. Essential Qualifications Six months of experience in home care preferred, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of patients in the home setting. Successful completion of a competency evaluation, demonstrating your skills and abilities as a caregiver. Current CPR certification required, with the ability to respond to emergencies and provide basic life support. Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation, enabling you to travel to patient homes as needed. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a CNA, Aide, or Caregiver, with a strong foundation in patient care and support. Completion of a training program in home health aide or a related field, with a focus on patient-centered care and support. Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet identified patients' needs, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and support. Skills and Competencies Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and make sound judgments in a variety of situations. Good communication, writing, and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate and timely records. Ability to function in any home situation, regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the patient, with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
