Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Data Analyst to join our team in a hybrid role, combining the flexibility of remote work with the collaboration and camaraderie of onsite interactions. As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving business decisions through data analysis, report development, and insights. Your expertise in Power BI, SQL, and data modeling will be instrumental in creating informative dashboards, auditing reports for accuracy, and providing actionable recommendations to our business units. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain dashboards in Power BI and other applicable BI and web applications to meet the evolving needs of our business units. Audit reports to ensure data accuracy and integrity, applying statistical techniques as necessary to validate findings. Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs, developing reports that are both informative and easy to interpret. Work closely with users and management to establish requirements for new reports or modifications, ensuring proper testing and validation of completed reports. Provide timely implementation of data requests, offering a high level of service to internal users and external customers. Participate in the testing of our Analytics Database to ensure result accuracy and contribute to the development of user stories. Schedule and provide ongoing Power BI training to users, enhancing their ability to leverage data insights. Review report usage metrics to track user engagement and follow up with stakeholders to improve report functionality. Attend planning sessions with the Project Manager to determine timelines and task names, ensuring alignment with project goals. Update project management tools as tasks are completed, maintaining transparency and progress tracking. Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you will need: A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, although equivalent experience may be considered. 3 to 5 years of experience in Data and Analytics, with a focus on SQL, Power BI, and Power Platform. Proficiency in building SSRS reports, writing SQL queries, and using Power BI, including DAX and M language. Strong understanding of RDBMS and data modeling, with the ability to apply deductive and inductive reasoning to solve complex problems. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software, with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: SQL database or Power BI certification, demonstrating expertise in data analysis and business intelligence tools. Experience with SharePoint, Excel, and automation tools, enhancing your ability to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
