About the Role: Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Service Specialist
This exciting opportunity is part of the Corporate Affairs Team within the Government Affairs Division at arenaflex. As a Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Service Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting and selling air travel, resolving customer problems, and providing exceptional service to our clients. Your expertise and leadership skills will be essential in driving success and growth in this dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote and sell air travel on arenaflex, identifying new opportunities and building strong relationships with our customers
Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, and prepare and issue tickets, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
Answer inquiries regarding general travel information and resolve customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Communicate with customers over the phone, researching passenger complaints, advising of cancelled or delayed flights, and providing timely updates and solutions
Communicate new rules, policies, and procedures that would affect the customer, ensuring that our clients are informed and up-to-date


Qualifications and Skills:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that demonstrate your ability to lead, communicate, and problem-solve effectively.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training, with a focus on customer service, sales, or a related area
Proven experience in customer-facing roles, with a strong track record of resolving customer complaints and providing exceptional service
Excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Knowledge of Native SABRE or similar systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
Ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative, exercise good judgment, and be dependable, with a strong commitment to delivering results and meeting targets

Advanced degree or certification in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or communications
Experience in the air travel industry, with a strong understanding of government and corporate affairs, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments

Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software, with the ability to analyze data and drive insights that inform business decisions
