[Remote] Federal Account Executive - DoW

The Federal Account Executive will be responsible for achieving revenue objectives by selling Commvault solutions to a defined territory of federal accounts and partners, focusing on building relationships and driving strategic growth.ResponsibilitiesAchieve quarterly and annual revenue targets across assigned DoW accounts, Federal System Integrators, and strategic partner organizationsDevelop and execute territory and strategic account plans that drive customer retention, account expansion, new logo acquisition, and long-term program growthMaintain a high level of customer, prospect, and partner engagement through in-person and virtual meetingsIdentify, qualify, and develop opportunities aligned to cyber resilience, mission assurance, cloud transformation, operational continuity, and infrastructure modernization initiativesBuild and maintain executive, technical, acquisition, and program stakeholder relationships within customer and partner organizationsLead consultative sales engagements that align Commvault solutions to customer challenges, mission requirements, and strategic business objectivesArticulate compelling technical, operational, financial, and strategic value propositions that demonstrate measurable business outcomes, infrastructure optimization, and investment protectionDevelop and execute Sell-To, Sell-With, and Sell-Through motions with Federal System Integrators, Value Added Resellers, alliance partners, and technology partnersSupport partner capture efforts, proposal development, opportunity qualification, and strategic program pursuitsLead cross-functional teams including Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing, Contracts, Finance, Legal, and Partner organizations to advance opportunities through the sales cyclePrepare and deliver customer presentations, executive briefings, business cases, and account reviewsNegotiate and close software, subscription, SaaS, and enterprise platform agreements in accordance with company policies and processesMaintain awareness of federal market trends, acquisition strategies, emerging technologies, competitive dynamics, and Commvault solutionsSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of five years of successful enterprise software sales experience within the U.S. Public Sector, DoW, Federal System Integrator, or related federal marketplaceProven track record of achieving revenue targets and closing complex software platform opportunitiesExperience developing strategic account plans and managing large, complex customer relationshipsUnderstanding of federal procurement environments, partner ecosystems, and program-based sales motionsExperience identifying, developing, and managing relationships with Federal System Integrators, channel partners, and technology alliance partnersAbility to communicate effectively with executive, technical, operational, acquisition, and program stakeholdersUnderstanding of data protection, cyber resilience, storage, infrastructure, cloud, or security technologiesStrong consultative selling, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsAbility to work independently while leading cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environmentBenefitsHigh income earning opportunities based on self performanceOpportunity for Presidents ClubNew hire stock equity (RSU) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathingSales qualification training in MEDDICAn inclusive company culture, opportunity to join our Community GuildsGenerous global benefitsCompany OverviewCommvault is a cyber resilience platform built for recovery and protection against threats.
