Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Associate Customer Care Coordinator to provide top-notch service to our Medicare customers. As a member of our service team, you will be responsible for handling a high volume of customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing detailed benefit quotes and eligibility information. Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first line of communication with customers, including existing and potential members, providers, internal departments, and employers
Provide detailed benefit quotes and review eligibility and premium information on a broad portfolio of products
Assist members in selecting medical homes and primary care physicians
Educate members and providers on the appropriate use of health plan and clinic services
Research and respond to claims and authorization inquiries
Maintain knowledge of complex custom networks and resolve customer issues and concerns
Possess a calm demeanor and ability to remain focused, professional, and utilize training to direct callers in crisis


Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

2 years of experience working in a high-pressure customer-facing service environment with a proven track record of learning and applying complex concepts
Experience in healthcare, preferably in a high-volume call center, claims, medical billing, insurance verification, or benefits advocacy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse customers and stakeholders
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex customer issues and concerns
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities


Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in an office setting, preferably in a healthcare environment
Call center customer service experience, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
Bilingual skills, with fluency in both Spanish and English
Experience working with Medicare customers and products
