As a strategic HR leader, you will play a critical role in driving organizational effectiveness, talent development, and business growth across our Programming and Product groups within the Trade, Development, and Character association. About the Trade, Development, and Character Association The Trade, Development, and Character association at Blithequark is responsible for driving the product and tech strategy for our streaming services, including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, and other industry-leading products. This association is critical to delivering innovative solutions, developing new business models, and enhancing the overall customer experience. Our teams work closely with various stakeholders to design, build, and launch new products, services, and features that meet the evolving needs of our audiences. Job Summary As a Manager, HR Business Partner at Blithequark, you will be a key member of our HR team, working closely with business leaders and stakeholders to drive talent development, organizational effectiveness, and business growth. You will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on all talent-related matters, including organizational design, leadership development, change management, and learning opportunities. Your expertise and guidance will help shape our HR strategies, programs, and initiatives that foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and employee engagement. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business, building effective working relationships with internal partners and clients to drive business outcomes. Proactively evaluate business and organizational performance, providing recommendations and driving action through a consultative, "impact without power" approach. Mentor leaders on HR policies, processes, and management issues, including talent planning, learning and development, employee inclusion and engagement, and performance management. Drive innovation and agility, seeking new approaches to our work and demonstrating adaptability, transparency, and global thinking. Support leaders and employees in resolving complex issues and driving results. Analyze HR data and trends, presenting findings in a clear and compelling manner to inform business decisions. Provide guidance on headcount and resource management, collaborating with Talent Acquisition and Compensation partners to ensure effective talent planning and acquisition. Utilize knowledge of individual and organizational dynamics to facilitate onboarding, talent management, internal mobility, and overall team development. Collaborate with DEI functional teams and employee resource groups to design and implement key Inclusion initiatives. Assess talent capabilities and development needs, working with Learning partners to create and deliver development experiences that address gaps in current and future competencies. Lead organization design initiatives to streamline and implement new structures, roles, or processes that drive speed, efficiency, and agility. Foster positive working relationships with other HR colleagues, partnering on projects and initiatives across various groups within Blithequark. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably within a tech organization working with software or product teams. Experience working with senior leaders in an "impact without power" role. Ability to perform with a "focus in" mindset, equally proficient at thinking strategically and functionally. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage ambiguity, navigating complex issues that may not have established processes or systems. Strong business acumen with the ability to rapidly process new information. Proven capacity to influence and partner with diverse stakeholders to drive business results. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to quickly interpret data, identify trends, and recommend solutions. Autonomous work style, balancing the need for collaboration with minimal management. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Business, HR Management, Psychology, or equivalent work experience. Experience working in a media and entertainment or tech industry. Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or related field.
