Job Overview and Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative for Data Entry and Patient Enrollment at blithequark, you will be responsible for performing information passage and patient enrollment, handling high-volume customer requests, and utilizing pharmacy systems to acquire patient and medication data. Your key responsibilities will include: Utilizing blithequark's solution information passage techniques and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering data into the proper system Handling patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and entering refill orders for processing Investigating to acquire missing prescription data and interpreting medical abbreviations (SIG codes) Resolving all data entry issues related to exceptions Handling communication to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and resolving outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed Resolving Third-Party Rejections by inspecting, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements Making phone calls to guarantors and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve Third-Party Rejections Providing support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those in different locations Identifying and communicating issues to senior-level staff as appropriate Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Basic level computer skills (e.g., starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between applications, saving files, printing reports, and accessing information online) Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a site, navigating back/forward/stop buttons, and filling out forms online Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents) Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally 18 years old or older Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make you a more competitive candidate: At least one year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment At least one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy technician with a certification/registration by the state as granted by the state Board of Pharmacy or nationally recognized certification organization Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents) Fluency in Spanish and English Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
