Job Responsibilities As a Full Stack System Engineer at Southwest Airlines, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing systems that meet customer needs and organizational standards. Your responsibilities will include: Direct vendor management, partner administration, and oversight to deliver systems that are complete, planned, and managed over life cycles Researching issues, designing solutions, recommending software and systems, and guiding improvements in a methodical way to meet business requirements Monitoring and testing performance and capacity concerning potential bottlenecks, identifying potential solutions, and working with partners to implement fixes Providing and ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability and resolving issues of moderate to medium to high complexity Executing and refreshing the platform process and guide Maintaining awareness of technology trends in the area of responsibility and making suitable recommendations Managing and maintaining computer and information networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations Meeting responsibilities and expectations as connected with participating/driving ventures Gathering data relating to client needs, and utilizing the data to identify, predict, interpret, and assess system and network requirements Creating and executing integrated testing strategies using test-driven development principles to guarantee solution integrity and quality Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent relevant training Middle-level experience, completely working expansive information in system engineering U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. Strong knowledge of hardware components, systems, software, and networking technologies Ability to perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, solution development, and performance within specific technology areas Skilled in administration and analytical/creative problem-solving Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Azure, SCCM, AD, as well as GPO Experience with cloud migration, specifically with Microsoft Intune What We Offer At Southwest Airlines, we offer a competitive salary, opportunities for growth and learning, and a unique work environment that values our employees.
