Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Substance Balance Experience group. As a Senior Programmer II, you'll play a critical role in developing and maintaining our content balance experience's concealment frameworks and building tooling to engage support specialists to uphold Etsy strategies. If you're passionate about working across multiple regions in a codebase, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain content balance experience's concealment frameworks using PHP, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
Build tooling to engage support specialists and uphold Etsy strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Search, Promotions, Suggestions, and Advertising, to ensure purchaser experiences aren't decreased by surprising and violative content.
Participate in code and design audits to maintain elevated standards of code quality.
Work with item designing groups to incorporate our control devices into their work processes and run A/B tests.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, and contribute to the development of our content control strategy.


Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on full-stack development.
Experience working with PHP, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
Experience with cloud technologies, such as Google Cloud or AWS, is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with remote teams.
A growth mindset, with a passion for learning and personal growth.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and principles.
