About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our web and cloud applications. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute software development projects
Design and develop full-stack applications using a range of programming languages and technologies
Implement and maintain high-quality code that meets industry standards and best practices
Work with our media playback groups to ensure a seamless and predictable streaming experience for our users
Participate in project planning and team activities to drive success and innovation
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack development
Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:
Experience with Roku SceneGraph and BrightScript development
Knowledge of HLS, transport stream, and CMAF media formats
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance
