Our team is passionate about developing engaging games that captivate audiences worldwide. **Job Summary** As a Senior Gear Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Collaborating with our Art, Layout, and Engineering teams to identify workflow inefficiencies and implement solutions to enhance our development process. * Working closely with the team to generate candidate answers, weigh tradeoffs, and implement the selected solution. * Assisting in the development, preservation, and extension of arenaflex's proprietary engine-specific and custom gear. * Building and guiding custom asset pipelines. * Growing arenaflex's proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across game engines and structures. **Key Responsibilities** * Proactively identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in our development process across various disciplines. * Preserve, extend, and aid present development gear. * Build and guide custom asset pipelines. * Grow arenaflex's proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across game engines and structures. * Collaborate with the team to generate candidate answers, weigh tradeoffs, and implement the selected solution. * Assist in the development, preservation, and extension of arenaflex's proprietary engine-specific and custom gear. **Essential Qualifications** * A strong passion for empowering others to excel in their roles. * Experience with the overall device lifecycle, including identifying issues, comparing capacity answers, implementing tools, and evaluating their effectiveness. * Enjoy working with custom standalone gear. * Experience growing gear that can be utilized by multiple game development disciplines. * Proficiency in C#, C++, Python, and JavaScript. * Ability to work efficiently in a self-directed environment. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with custom game engines, including Unreal or Unity. * Familiarity with JavaScript and Net Tech. * Experience with required utility materials. * A resume outlining applicable experience. **Skills and Competencies** * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. * Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we believe in investing in our team members' growth and development.
