We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. Job Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Software Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:


Designing, building, and deploying cloud-based applications using a range of technologies, including Java, Scala, and NoSQL databases
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth, including product management, design, and engineering
Working with peer innovation and improvement groups across various areas to share knowledge, best practices, and ideas
Building and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and secure software systems that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders
Participating in code reviews, testing, and other SDLC activities to ensure the highest levels of quality and reliability
Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and innovations in the field, and applying this knowledge to drive business value and growth
Leading a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement, and encouraging a growth mindset across the team


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:


2+ years of work experience in software development, with a strong focus on cloud-based applications and distributed systems
Proficiency in Java or Scala, with experience in designing and building scalable, secure, and high-performance software systems
Experience with NoSQL databases, including Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and Flash
Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and best practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies and processes, and apply this knowledge to drive business value and growth


Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:


Experience with cloud platforms, including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
Experience with messaging systems, including Apache Kafka
Experience with microservices architecture and service mesh
Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including continuous integration and delivery
Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and high availability
Experience with cloud-based data storage and analytics platforms
