As a key member of our tech group, you'll have the opportunity to design, code, and deploy software that makes a significant impact on our clients' digital lives. **About the Role:** As an Information Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for building core components and features of card exchange frameworks on a distributed platform. You'll work closely with our team of senior designers and engineers to design and develop scalable, high-performance software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design and develop distributed data processing and scientific frameworks * Create high-level and detailed designs of subsystems/ features with a focus on performant code * Collaborate with designers and engineers to build and code features, and assist in code and other SDLC tasks * Develop POCs to test new ideas and technologies * Stay up-to-date with industry-leading/innovative advances and solutions, and be aware of empowering innovations and open-source products to build low-latency distributed frameworks * Lead a culture of innovation and experimentation, participate in a fun and result-oriented culture, and be willing to try new ideas without fear of failure * Collaborate with peer innovation and development teams across various areas **Essential Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field * Experience in data processing using Flash * Knowledge of planning, executing, and working with NoSQL databases like Cassandra, Elasticsearch **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in distributed data processing and analyzing using Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Flash * Experience in building messaging frameworks like Kafka * Experience in cloud platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift * Experience in Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and DevOps frameworks * Experience in architecting large-scale distributed data systems considering scalability, reliability, security, performance, and adaptability * Clear understanding of different design patterns, stringing, and memory models supported by the language/VM * Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to other architects * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver effective presentations to senior leaders **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary of $27/hour * Opportunity to work with the latest technologies and innovations * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Dedicated time for professional development and growth * Comprehensive benefits package * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options **Why Join arenaflex?** At arenaflex, we believe in empowering our employees to grow and develop their skills.
