About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Development Engineer to join our team at careerzynith. As a key member of our Shipping & Delivery Support (SDS) Tech team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying reliable distributed solutions that operate at scale. You'll work with a variety of core languages and technologies, including Java, Linux, and AWS services, to tackle complex technical problems and deliver innovative self-service support options to improve the driver support experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Software Development Engineer at careerzynith, you'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including:


Delivering working features spanning the full software lifecycle, including working backwards from customers, software design, implementation, testing, and deployment, operations, and documentation
Mentoring engineers on your team to help grow their potential
Making priority tradeoffs between new feature development and operational work
Engaging with customers, stakeholders, and peers to understand the business and customer value of your team's software in order to ensure you deliver the right solutions

Basic Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need to have:


3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language


Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we're looking for candidates with:


Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
