Job Summary As a Senior Data Scientist at blithequark, you will be responsible for leading analysis, strategy, and decision-making across different groups and levels. You will work with various stakeholders to uncover insights and transform them into actionable recommendations, driving business decisions for the whole organization. This is a full-time remote job opportunity, and we offer a competitive salary of $28 per hour. Key Responsibilities Utilize quantitative analysis and data presentation to see past the numbers and understand what drives our business. Build full-cycle analysis trials, reports, and dashboards using SQL, R, Python, or other scripting and statistical tools. Work with and mentor junior professionals on how to use advanced strategies and address challenges. Produce recommendations and use statistical procedures and hypothesis testing to validate your findings. Provide insights to help business and product leaders understand marketplace dynamics, client behaviors, and long-term trends. Identify and measure switches to help move fundamental metrics and make proposals. Work in reverse from understanding and measuring issues to ideating solutions. Report against our objectives by identifying key metrics and building leader-facing dashboards to track progress. Collaborate with engineering to implement, report, validate, and monitor our logging. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: A degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a comparable field. 4+ years of experience in data analysis, consulting, or a related field. Experience working with pipeline optimization, client segmentation, peer analysis, time series analysis, regression models, and more. Mastery of SQL queries, ETL, A/B Testing, and statistical analysis (e.g., hypothesis testing, experimentation, regressions) with statistical packages like Matlab, R, SAS, or Python. Proficiency in at least one analysis and visualization tool (e.g., Chartio, Looker, Tableau). The ability to take ambiguous issues and resolve them in a structured, hypothesis-driven, data-supported way.
