**About the Job**
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our remote team, reporting directly to our Senior Bookkeeping Supervisor. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in driving financial reporting and analysis, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial statements, and providing insights to inform business decisions. This is a full-time, remote position that offers a competitive salary of $27/hour and a range of benefits and perks.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Senior Accountant at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:
* Planning and preparing journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger
* Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records, including general ledger accounts and financial statements
* Providing financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
* Collaborating with FP&A and other functional partners to drive process improvements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
* Conducting special investigations and projects to support our cycle improvement initiatives
* Preparing and presenting financial reports to management and external stakeholders, including annual reviews and quarterly surveys

* Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, and SOX/ internal controls
* Experience with financial software, including NetSuite, Coupa, and GSuite
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
