As a Principal DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of DevOps tooling, practices, and culture across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of cloud-based applications and infrastructure solutions. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead the development of DevOps strategies, including the design, implementation, and maintenance of tools, practices, and culture. * Establish and enforce DevOps best practices, including source control, code review, automated testing, and deployment techniques. * Design and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar to provision and manage resources across cloud environments. * Execute and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar to ensure fast and reliable application deployment. * Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements. * Monitor and analyze DevOps pipelines and practices, identifying areas for improvement, automation, and optimization to enhance deployment consistency and accuracy. * Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies, trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for their adoption within the organization's DevOps environment. * Coach and provide technical guidance to junior colleagues, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning. **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. * Experience working in cloud environments, including GCP (e.g., Google Cloud Platform), Azure, AWS, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). * Proficiency in infrastructure as code concepts and tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for automating asset provisioning and deployment. * Active involvement in CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI) and source control systems (e.g., Git). * Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or similar. * Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate complex DevOps stage issues and provide effective solutions. * Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Cloud Logging Solutions) to ensure application performance and system health. * Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps, including experience with vulnerability scanning, compliance frameworks, and secure deployment practices. * Leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding junior team members, is a plus. **About Our Culture** At arenaflex, we are committed to creating a culture that values diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
