Information Science and Designing (DSE) at careerzynith
Our DSE team at careerzynith is dedicated to harnessing the power of data, analytics, and science to drive business growth. We're seeking an Information Specialist to join our Games DSE team, supporting critical pipelines to inform both individual game and overall game portfolio performance. This role will collaborate closely with our Game studio partners to identify the types of data that need to be collected. As a member of this team, you may also work directly with our Game Development teams as they gather telemetry from specific games.
Job Description
We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Information Specialist. In this role, you will:
Design and develop efficient, scalable, and adaptable data pipelines to handle structured and unstructured data
Gain a deep understanding of the emerging games space at careerzynith
Collaborate with our game studio partners to develop high-level metrics for games (e.g., maintenance, etc.)
Partner with Netflix's internal game studios (Night School, Next Games, Manager Battle, and Agile Fox) to ingest relevant metrics and game data into the careerzynith ecosystem
Collaborate with the careerzynith SDK team and external game partners (e.g., Gameloft) to collect data through the careerzynith Games SDK
Join a talented team of data engineers with diverse skill sets, working closely with data science and analytics partners
About You
We're looking for someone who is passionate about building robust data products and has:
Energetic about building natural data products
Proficient in at least one of Java, Python, or Scala with at least 2 years of programming/data engineering experience
Strong skills in advanced SQL
Experience in designing data pipelines using big data technologies (Hive, Voila, Flash, Flink) on medium to large-scale datasets
Proficiency in AWS cloud services (S3, EC2, RDS, etc.)
Ability to take requirements and deliver adaptable data models and pipelines
