About the Role We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems and applications. You will work closely with our product owners, data analysts, and business partners to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements. Key Responsibilities Design and implement data products and features in collaboration with product owners, data analysts, and business partners Contribute to the overall architecture, frameworks, and standards for processing and evaluating big data Contribute to the evaluation of new technologies, tools, and frameworks aimed at processing large volumes of data Translate product backlog items into logical units of engineering work Implement distributed data processing pipelines using tools and languages prevalent in the big data ecosystem Build tools, user-defined functions, libraries, and frameworks to better enable data flow patterns Collaborate with engineering leads and other teams to ensure quality solutions are implemented and technical best practices are defined and followed Create and participate in automated unit tests and participate in integration tests Use and extend continuous integration and deployment frameworks Troubleshoot data issues and perform root cause analysis Work in teams to resolve operational and performance issues Essential Qualifications A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Information Systems 2 years of experience in the offered position or a computer-related position Preferred Qualifications Experience with Spark, Hive, Python, AWS, Apache Airflow, EMR, Data Bricks, Data Structures, Algorithms, Automated Unit Testing, CI/CD, Create Data Feeds, and Hadoop Skills and Competencies Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices Experience with big data processing and analytics Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++ Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Azure Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we believe in the importance of continuous learning and career growth.
