About Blithequark's Data Science and Media Teams Blithequark's Data Science and Media teams are responsible for supporting clients across the organization, including Parks, Resorts, Customer Products, and Media divisions. We use innovative technologies, data analysis, and modeling to drive business value and shape business decisions. Our Data Engineering team plays a critical role in partnering with stakeholders to develop and sustain products, provide data pipeline and database engineering services, and drive business growth. Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Science and Media teams. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and sustaining products for our Media business. You will work on various data engineering activities, including maintaining and improving data acquisition processes, data validation processes, ETL/ELT data pipelines, and overall process monitoring strategies. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and databases to support business intelligence and analytics Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and develop source-to-target mappings Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using SQL, Python, and other technologies Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and data cleansing processes Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedulers to support data processing Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data engineering solutions with business applications Troubleshoot and resolve data engineering issues in a fast-paced environment Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support Proven experience with Python and SQL, preferably with Snowflake Experience working in a multi-environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DEVOP methodologies for code deployment and development Experience developing and maintaining automated workflows and schedulers Strong understanding of relational database design and functionality Preferred Qualifications The following qualifications will set you apart: Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar Proficiency in cloud architecture and product offerings, preferably AWS Experience managing and delivering code using source control tools like GitLab/GitHub Experience using Docker What We Offer At Blithequark, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that encourages growth and innovation.
