**The Role**
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team at careerzynith. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based data pipelines that drive business value and inform strategic decision-making. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of data-driven innovation at careerzynith.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Science, Product, and Engineering, to design and develop data pipelines that meet business requirements
* Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using SQL (Snowflake and PostgreSQL), Python, Docker, and GitLab
* Design and implement data set schema, tables, and views to support data analysis and science models
* Deliver high-quality datasets as input to science models and visualizations
* Develop and maintain automated work schedulers to ensure efficient data processing and pipeline execution
* Work with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar cloud-based solutions
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure careerzynith remains at the forefront of data-driven innovation
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
* Proven expertise in using Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake)
* Experience working in a multi-environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DEVOPS setup for code organization and development
* Experience creating and maintaining automated work schedulers
* Strong understanding of data set schema and design
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar cloud-based solutions
* Proficiency in cloud design and product offerings, ideally AWS
* Experience managing and delivering code using a source control tool like GitLab/GitHub
* Experience using Docker
