**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team on a part-time remote basis. As a key member of our analytics team, you'll be responsible for supporting our paid media investigation capability, driving key business decisions, and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making. Your expertise will help us to streamline our paid media spend, identify areas for improvement, and develop data-driven strategies to drive business growth.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain detailed reports and dashboards to support business decision-making
- Collaborate with paid media information science team and marketing groups to develop media blend models
- Direct special projects through database querying, followed by smart analysis of results and the plan and communication of recommendations that drive action
- Work closely with marketing, finance, and product groups to handle business challenges, and track marketing and product performance with a data-driven approach
- Influence Organized Inquiry Language (SQL), MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, and other reporting tools to create and maintain planned and Ad-hoc reports
- Examine data to identify business issues and lead deep dives to perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate with partners to use data (internal data from arenaflex and Amazon, as well as external data from market research and marketing organizations) and address complex business challenges by conveying significant insights
- Conceptualize and run investigations that produce insights on customer behavior and customer needs to help further develop and improve our value proposition
**Essential Capabilities**
- Experience in the field of Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Consulting in an e-commerce climate or related field
- High-level SQL experience
- High-level involvement in at least one industry analytics and measurement perception tool (e.g. Tableau/QuickSight/Power BI)
- Master in Power BI with a demonstrated history
- Degree in data science, business, finance, data innovation, statistics, mathematics, or other related field
**Preferred Capabilities**
- You enjoy working in a team of highly connected people
- You have an enthusiasm for numbers, data, and analytics, but also for conveying significant analysis of high quality
- Strong inclination for action, highly organized, and ability to complete tasks and projects with little direction and tight deadlines
- Fantastic communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with both business leadership and technical teams effectively
- Experience with enrollment, membership-based, or media content organizations
- Experience with and/or interest to learn more on state-of-the-art data science approaches
- Programming languages: knowledge of Python
- Knowledge of other programming languages, such as Java or C#, or of statistical programming languages like R or SAS
- Knowledge of Adobe Analytics
