As a state-certified teacher and/or alternatively certified CRE/CTE Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging and effective online learning experiences to students in grades 6-12. We're committed to creating a culture of inclusion and diversity, where our employees are passionate about serving students and families, and treat one another and customers with respect. **Key Responsibilities:** * Deliver engaging and effective online learning experiences to students in grades 6-12, using a range of synchronous and asynchronous tools and platforms. * Provide personalized support and guidance to students, parents, and colleagues to ensure academic success and personal growth. * Monitor student progress through K12's learning management system, and work collaboratively with students and parents to develop and implement plans for post-secondary success. * Develop and maintain a deep understanding of state, national, and industry-specific learning standards, and apply this knowledge to inform instructional decisions. * Collaborate with colleagues and the national professional learning community to share best practices and drive continuous improvement. * Administer and proctor certification assessments, as required. * Serve as an Advisor for Career & Technical Student Organization, and support the CTE Program Coordinator/school/program with creating business and industry partnerships to facilitate work-based learning experiences for students. * Support a project-based learning model, and contribute to the development of effective instructional tools and strategies to supplement and enhance provided curriculum. **Essential Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree * Active state teaching license * Ability to clear required background check * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint * Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms * Ability to maintain teacher certification/professional development hours and fluency in K12 systems, programs, and curriculum **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience working with the proposed age group (grades 6-12) * Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology * Experience teaching in an online (virtual) and/or in a brick-and-mortar environment * Experience with online learning platforms **Work Environment:** * This is a virtual position, requiring the ability to work independently and maintain a professional home office without distraction during work hours. * Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for face-to-face professional development, student testing, and/or as required by the school. **Compensation and Benefits:** * Base salary of $49,000 * Eligibility for a performance bonus * Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) matching and paid time off. **Career Growth Opportunities:** * arenaflex is committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees, with opportunities for professional development, mentorship, and career advancement. * Collaborate with colleagues and the national professional learning community to share best practices and drive continuous improvement. * Participate in regular coaching and feedback sessions with administrators and teacher trainers to ensure excellent student outcomes. **Equal Opportunity Employer:** arenaflex is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
