Experienced Full Stack Accounting Analyst – Remote Financial Operations Support for Commercial Energy

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Accounting Analyst to join our Financial Operations team, supporting Commercial Energy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis, accounting support, and process improvement initiatives to ensure the smooth operation of our financial functions. Key Responsibilities Research and processing of incoming requests from internal and external customers Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with GAAP and company policy Responsible for various aspects (journal entries, account reconciliation) of the monthly financial close process with an emphasis on the Treasury/Cash Accounting function Collaborate and work closely with key contacts in other departments (e.g., Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Revenue) to resolve reconciliation discrepancies and unrecorded transactions Assist with projects and initiatives to continuously improve efficiency and accounting processes at scale Invoicing customers for ad hoc requirements and recurring invoicing of business lines while understanding subsidiary AR, revenue, and GL accounts/journals Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Essential Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree with an accounting emphasis or equivalent education and experience in accounting or finance 1-2 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced accounting operations environment; experience in a public company is an advantage Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required; experience with SQL is a plus Passionate about process improvement and automation Effective communication and collaboration skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work well in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail when working with multiple data sources Ability to quickly learn multiple operating systems Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant approval Good knowledge of balance sheet accounts, profit and loss accounts, journal entries, and accurate debit and credit Preferred Qualifications Experience working with major ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX Experience with reporting platforms such as Power BI and using Power Query and SQL to organize/query data What We Offer As a Full Stack Accounting Analyst at Tesla, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing organization, leveraging your skills and expertise to drive success in a fast-paced environment.
