Experienced Food and Consumables Coach - Driving Sales, Customer Satisfaction, and Team Development at Walmart

We're seeking an experienced Food and Consumables Coach to join our team in Hibbing, MN, and contribute to our mission by driving sales, customer satisfaction, and team development. About the Role As a Food and Consumables Coach, you will play a critical role in leading and developing high-performing teams, driving business results, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You'll be responsible for coaching and developing associates, managing store operations, and implementing business initiatives to drive sales and profitability. Key Responsibilities Lead and Develop Teams: Teach, train, and actively listen to associates; tour stores and provide feedback to improve performance; communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates to drive business results. Exceptional Customer Service: Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards; manage and support customer service initiatives; ensure customer needs are successfully resolved; develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies. Drive Business Results: Review and evaluate P&L statements; manage and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses; monitor and ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, and operational processes. Supervise and Develop Associates: Hire, train, and mentor associates; assign duties; set clear expectations; provide associate recognition; communicate expectations consistently and effectively. Ensure Compliance: Implement company policies and procedures; support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity; utilize and support the Open Door Policy. Minimum Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications: 2 years' of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered a plus: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
