Job Summary and Responsibilities
In this part-time role, you will play a vital part in the patient care process by ensuring laboratory specimens are properly received and routed for testing. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in this position. Key responsibilities include:
Performing data entry tasks, including lab requests and test orders, with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
Double-checking test orders and recognizing when corrective action is needed to ensure quality control
Working in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and adhering to PPE requirements to maintain a safe working environment
Championing safety, compliance, and quality control in all aspects of your work

Essential Qualifications and Skills

A High School Diploma or equivalent
