Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Employee Assistance Program Worklife Customer Support Associate to join our team at blithequark. In this role, you will coordinate Worklife, employee assistance, and management consultant resources, reviewing members' needs and communicating information regarding relevant services and resources. You will also administer policies and procedures for the Employee Assistance Program Worklife area, supporting organizational objectives and ensuring the delivery of high-quality support to our members. Key Responsibilities Execute routine and non-routine business support tasks for the Employee Assistance Program Worklife area under limited supervision, referring deviations from standard practices to managers. Follow area protocols, standards, and policies to provide effective and timely support to members. Answer calls, understand call purpose, complete research to identify potential providers and resources, and enter member information into the appropriate system to initiate the case. Respond to member inquiries about services, requests, and resources for life skills, providing empathetic and patient support. Maintain accurate and complete internal documentation of required information, meeting risk management and regulatory requirements. Takes direction to execute techniques, processes, and responsibilities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support to members. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Essential Qualifications 1+ year of experience with customer service in a call center environment. 1+ year of experience in a social, psychological, or human service field providing client support. Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Teams, and other relevant software applications. High school diploma or GED. Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of experience in behavioral health, with a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges faced by individuals and families. Working knowledge of problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with members and provide empathetic support. Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to display empathy and patience in member-facing conversations, with a commitment to delivering compassionate and supportive care. Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social work, psychology, or human services.
