**Job Overview**
As an Elementary Math Tutor at careerzynith, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students. You'll work closely with students to develop their math skills, build their confidence, and inspire a love for learning. **Responsibilities**
* Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to elementary students in math, focusing on basic skills, entry-level geometry, and pre-algebra
* Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to each student's needs and learning style
* Conduct sessions in a professional and engaging manner, using a variety of teaching methods to keep students motivated and interested
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular session reports to our office and families
* Effectively communicate with students, parents, and our office team to ensure seamless service delivery
* Follow up with office staff to ensure timely completion of student enrollment packages and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
* Continuously evaluate and improve your teaching methods to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students
**Minimum Qualifications**
* Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field, with a preference for specialized education fields
* Minimum 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching, with a strong background in math education
* Credentialed tutors or graduate degrees are a plus, but not a requirement
* Experience with basic database/data entry and ability to prepare for each tutoring session (lesson plan)
* Strong administration skills, including typing, PC, and recording skills
* Reliable transportation with current car insurance and access to the internet, a computer, and a smartphone
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and abilities
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing circumstances
* Familiarity with educational software and technology, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and systems
