About the Role We're seeking an experienced and highly motivated Property and Casualty Licensed Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you'll be the face of blithequark, interacting with our valued customers who are placed with one of our partnered insurance companies. Your mission will be to ensure that every customer's insurance needs are met with the right coverage at a reasonable price, providing them with peace of mind and building long-lasting relationships. Key Responsibilities Answer inbound calls from existing customers in a dynamic call center environment, utilizing multiple programs and systems to resolve queries efficiently and effectively. Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of insurance requirements and carrier guidelines across multiple states and carriers, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and regulations. Address customer inquiries related to coverages, billing, and policy history, providing clear and concise information to ensure customer satisfaction. Employ a proactive approach to identify and assess customers' needs, offering tailored solutions and creating opportunities for our in-house consultants to upsell, cross-sell, re-shop, and rewrite policies. Resolve customer issues, process payments, answer questions, and process endorsements in a timely and professional manner. Maintain a high level of call quality, process adherence, and productivity metrics, continuously striving for excellence in every interaction. Stay abreast of the software, products, and processes used by the organization, leveraging technology to enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency. Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you'll need: A resident state Property and Casualty license, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the insurance industry. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when collecting and entering data, ensuring seamless customer interactions and minimizing errors. Excellent organizational and time management skills, enabling you to prioritize tasks, manage multiple screens, and navigate several carrier platforms and systems simultaneously. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex insurance concepts in a clear and concise manner. At least two years of customer service experience in the non-standard market, preferably in a multi-insurance carrier/rater environment, with a proven track record of success in fast-paced and dynamic settings. A strong, reliable internet connection, ensuring uninterrupted service and minimizing downtime. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Experience working with named non-owner policies, understanding SR-22, and FR-44 state filings, demonstrating your expertise in specialized insurance products. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish), enabling you to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base and expand our reach in the market.
