About the Role: Early Intervention Behavior Technician - Paid Training We're on the lookout for motivated and passionate professionals to join our team as Early Intervention Behavior Technicians. This role is perfect for individuals who are eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adolescents on the autism spectrum. As a Behavior Technician with Key Autism Services, you'll be working under the guidance and supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and counseling programs in-home. This is a fully remote opportunity with flexible scheduling to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, depending on your location. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to younger children on the Autism Spectrum. Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions to inform treatment plans. Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and execute treatment plans as designed by a BCBA. Collaborate closely with a BCBA Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy. Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors, maintaining a high level of professionalism. Arrive on time and be thoroughly prepared for therapy sessions. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in all interactions. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To excel in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's Degree or be working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology). At least 1 year of experience working with children in a 1:1 setting. Relevant experience includes roles such as Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle for travel between client locations. Ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform activities that require fine and gross motor skills, including bending, kneeling, squatting, and standing for periods. Preferred Skills and Competencies Experience with Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plans for youth and families. Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification or willingness to obtain. Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum.
