About the Role We are seeking an experienced Digital Collections Live Chat Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our collections department, you will be responsible for engaging with borrowers through various digital communication channels, addressing delinquent accounts, collecting past due payments, and providing tailored payment solutions to help borrowers overcome delinquency. Your role will also involve maintaining meticulous records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent account customers, as well as documenting any payments collected. Key Responsibilities Communicate effectively with delinquent borrowers via multiple digital channels to understand their situations and provide support. Develop and propose solutions to help borrowers bring their loans up to date, ensuring a positive customer experience. Process payments for borrowers with past due amounts, ensuring timely and efficient transactions. Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly collection and metric goals, contributing to the team's overall performance and success. Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you should possess: 1-2 years of direct experience in credit and collections, with a strong background in sales, negotiation, and persuasion techniques. Excellent written communication skills, enabling you to craft clear, empathetic, and solution-focused messages. Prior experience with financial products is preferred, as it will enhance your understanding of our customers' needs and the solutions we offer. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, ensuring you can efficiently manage records and communications. A self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset, with a strong desire to meet and exceed targets. A team player attitude, recognizing the value of collaboration in achieving collective goals.
