Job Summary As a Database Analyst at blithequark, you will be responsible for supporting the database operations team in fulfilling database activity requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in resolving common database issues, performing disaster recovery tasks, and ensuring the optimal performance of our SQL database environments. You will work closely with various cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain database solutions that meet application development needs. Key Responsibilities: Investigate and resolve common database issues, performing disaster recovery tasks as needed. Perform routine database maintenance activities, including file maintenance, backups (full, differential, and log backups), and SQL job scheduling and monitoring. Apply database sizing and performance tuning best practices to ensure optimal database performance. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions that meet application requirements. Provide technical support and training to junior team members on database management and maintenance. Develop and maintain documentation of database configurations, procedures, and best practices. Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent in education and work experience. Experience with SQL database management systems , including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
