**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Data Entry Technician to join our Customs Brokerage team on a part-time basis (15-20 hours per week). As a Data Entry Technician, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering customs declaration information into our operating system, verifying documents, and providing exceptional customer service. **Key Responsibilities**

### Data Entry and Customs Declaration
* Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
* Understand and identify customs documentation
* Transpose customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
* Verify documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct
### Customer Service and Communication
* Provide excellent customer service building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally
* Communicate clearly and concisely with customers, colleagues, and management
### Compliance and Quality Assurance
* Ensure compliance at all times to regulations
* Daily execution of workflow and department metrics
**Qualifications**

### Essential Qualifications
* Associates or Bachelors Degree
* Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
* Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical
* Proficient computer skills, including solid data entry with high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
