Key Responsibilities Accurate data input and maintenance of confidentiality Risk Evaluation: Understand the concept of specific risks and offer results of analysis to management Rate Recording: Classify and analyze recording data, then prepare and submit necessary exhibits for regulatory filings Reserve Examination: Analyze claim data and monitor reserve levels for suitability, demonstrating an understanding of actuarial reserving techniques and issues Planning and Forecasting: Provide technical support and analysis for planning, estimating, and reporting processes Pricing, Trend, and Benefit Design: Develop and recommend pricing and trend for products or services Technical Expertise: Develop innovative technical solutions to various problems, demonstrating proficiency with spreadsheets and knowledge of database and online applications Create and implement suitable tools and models, and develop and resolve business requirements and/or specifications for processes, tools, and systems Essential and Preferred Qualifications Required Capabilities Meet educational requirements (see education section) Willingness to relocate to a designated Actuarial hub (migration assistance available) Preferred Capabilities Entry-level or work experience supporting Actuarial functions of an organization or group area Demonstrated leadership experience, such as active roles in student or social organization activities, or sports Strong written relational skills Familiarity with analytical or coding software, such as SAS, Python, Excel, VBA, SQL, or R Ability to work in a high-speed environment and comply with tight time constraints Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Supportive of teamwork and a positive environment to improve team effectiveness Adaptable and able to quickly and efficiently adjust to change Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At CVS Health, you will have access to various career development opportunities, including training programs, tuition assistance, and professional development initiatives.
