Key Responsibilities
The Data Entry Specialist will be accountable for a range of tasks, including:
Processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles
Identifying and addressing breaks recognized between arenaflex and fund companies or transfer agents
Processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions task, and processing/reconciling returns activity
Performing analysis of complex/escalated issues
Conducting testing/validation of new technology enhancements and provider changes
Completing projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile
The specialist will work closely with the Retail and Institutional Service Teams, using email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce to communicate and resolve issues. The role will also interact with external business partners, including fund companies, transfer agents, and opposite agencies, to ensure seamless transactions and resolve any issues that may arise.
Duties Analysis
The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for:
Reviewing subscription deals or transfer requests
Client/Advisor amount exceptions
Regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
Reconciliation of Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
Reconciling across BOS and Fund Companies
Reviewing and analyzing correct tax coding and corrections of tax coding
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving
The specialist will be required to:
Investigate and resolve internal/external system improvements or issues
Identify the root cause of breaks between arenaflex, the Fund, and other external partners
Provide method or technology solution alternatives to Management
Remediate transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm, Client, or Business Partner
Respond to business partner inquiries regarding Fund information requirements/eligibility
Follow up on Alternative Investment moves to expedite the customer request or remediate not neat issues
Promptly and correctly complete client investing and dividend requests
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
