Job Overview As a Data Entry Specialist for Alternate Investments at blithequark, you will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks. Your primary focus will be on processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles, identifying and addressing breaks recognized between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents. You will also be responsible for processing corporate activity activities, settling and reconciling transactions, and processing and reconciling returns activity. Key Responsibilities Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify/address breaks recognized between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents Process corporate activity activities, settle and reconcile transactions, and process and reconcile returns activity Analyze complex/escalated issues and perform testing/validation of new technology enhancements and provider changes Complete projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile Collaborate with Retail and Institutional Service Teams using email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce Interact with fund companies, transfer agents, counterparties, and other external business partners to resolve issues and provide exceptional service Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends and patterns Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Strong knowledge of financial concepts and terminology, with experience in data entry and reconciliation Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Experience working in the financial services industry, with a focus on alternate investments Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance procedures, including 2340 and 15C3-3 Experience with technology enhancements and provider changes, with the ability to test and validate new systems and processes Strong understanding of tax coding and corrections, with the ability to review and analyze correct tax coding and corrections of income tax coding Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong technical skills, with experience using software applications such as Salesforce and Slack Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends and patterns Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
